Zamfara Governor Approves Early Salaries for Ramadan

The Governor of Zamfara State has approved the immediate payment of February salaries and pensions to facilitate adequate preparation for Ramadan among workers and retirees. This directive was communicated in a statement issued on Monday by the Commissioner for Information, Mahmud Dantawasa.

The governor ordered the State Accountant General to release the funds without delay. In his statement, Governor Lawal urged civil servants and the Muslim community to utilize this sacred period for prayer, emphasizing the need for peace, unity, and stability in Zamfara State.

He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to the welfare of workers and retirees, assuring residents that their well-being remains a top priority. The governor also conveyed goodwill messages to the Muslim community in Zamfara, wishing them peace and spiritual rewards during Ramadan.
