Zamfara State Mobilizes 1,997 Teams for Integrated Immunization Campaign

Zamfara State's Primary Health Care Board has partnered with various organizations to mobilize 1,997 vaccination teams for an integrated polio campaign. Dr.

Murtala Salahudeen, the State Polio Emergency Operations Center Manager, revealed the plan to vaccinate children against measles, rubella, and other diseases. The campaign targets approximately 1.2 million children across urban and rural communities in Zamfara State, with a focus on improving routine immunization services and coverage.

Dr. Hussaini Yakubu, the Executive Secretary of the Zamfara Primary Health Care Board, reaffirmed the government's commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery and immunization services statewide.
