Zamfara Police Rescue 25 From Bandit Attack in Damba Village

Zamfara Police successfully rescued 25 people, comprising ten women and fifteen children, who were abducted by heavily armed bandits in Damba village, Gusau local government area. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Yazid Abubakar, stated that the bandits opened fire on the village before the police intervened.

The rescued individuals were promptly moved to safety in Sabongari Damba for proper profiling and eventual reunification with their families. The incident highlights the ongoing security challenges in Nigeria, with a worrying trend of kidnappings across the country.
