Zenith Bank Appoints Kennedi Okwudili as Executive Director

Zenith Bank Plc announced the appointment of Kennedi Okwudili as Executive Director, effective May 1, 2026. This decision was disclosed in a corporate announcement to the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Tuesday.

The appointment aligns with the bank's traditional success strategy to groom leaders within its system and further strengthen its executive management team. Kennedi Okwudili holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maiduguri, which he obtained in 1998 with a second-class upper division.

He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University in 2008 and a Master of Science in Accounting from Veritas University Abuja in 2021. Okwudili has 25 years of banking experience that spans various areas including credit, market treasury, compliance, and operations.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, and the Association of Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria.
