Zenith Bank Appoints Kennedi Okwudili as Executive Director

Zenith Bank PLC has announced the appointment of Kennedi Onuwa Okwudili as Executive Director, effective May 1, 2026. This move highlights the bank's commitment to developing internal talent and enhancing its leadership team.

Okwudili has extensive institutional knowledge and cross-functional experience within the organization, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting from the University of Maiduguri in 1998, and later obtaining an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2008, and a Master's in Science in Accounting from Veritas University, Abuja in 2021. He has over 25 years of cognate banking experience, spanning various departments including credit, market treasury, compliance, and operations.

Okwudili is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) since 2013, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) since 2024, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) since 2016. He has participated in several executive education programs, including those at Lagos Business School, Harvard Business School, and the University of Oxford Business School.

Currently, he serves as the President of the Catholic Bankers Association of Nigeria (CBAN) and is a member of the Noble Order of the Knights of St. John International (KSJI).
