Zenith Bank Plc has been recognized as “Africa’s Best Bank” and “Nigeria’s Best Bank” for the second consecutive year at the 2026 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, held at The Peninsula London Hotel. The awards evaluated over 770 entries from leading financial institutions globally. Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji, Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc, expressed gratitude for the recognitions, attributing them to customer trust and the dedication of the bank's workforce.
She also acknowledged the supportive regulatory environment and dedicated the award to the bank's founder, Jim Ovia. In the 2025 financial year, Zenith Bank reported gross earnings of N4.19 trillion and a profit after tax of N1.04 trillion, while reducing its non-performing loan ratio from 4.7% to 3.8%.
The bank also declared a record dividend of N10 per share for the 2025 financial year.
