Ziba Launches Luxury Overwater Resort Expansion in Lagos

Ziba, Nigeria’s first over-water resort, has launched Phase 3 of its development in Lagos, which includes the introduction of larger Grand Overwater Rooms, loft-style overwater accommodations, and a dedicated wellness centre. The unveiling took place over the weekend and aims to further establish the resort as a luxury tourism and wellness destination while highlighting locally developed hospitality experiences.

Tricia Olufemi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ziba, described the expansion as a significant milestone for both the resort and Nigeria’s hospitality industry. He emphasized that the new offerings, including the first-ever loft-style overwater stays in Nigeria, demonstrate that world-class luxury experiences can be found within the country.

The Grand Overwater Rooms are designed for couples, families, and guests seeking direct over-water accommodation, while the wellness centre will provide spa, recovery, and relaxation facilities. Olufemi stated that this development showcases the potential of Nigerian creativity and hospitality to compete on an international level.
