Sujimoto Group Launches Plans for Nigeria's Tallest Hotel

Sujimoto Group has unveiled plans for a 49-storey luxury hotel named Isabella de’ Medici, intended to become Nigeria's tallest and most luxurious hotel, located in Lagos. The hotel will offer a combination of luxury hospitality, leisure, and private hotel-suite ownership, allowing investors to purchase individual suites.
The project draws inspiration from Renaissance Florence and aims to position Lagos as a hub for international luxury tourism. The hotel will feature a KRION façade, a large lobby aquarium, a hanging infinity pool on the 35th floor, international restaurants, luxury boutiques, wellness facilities, a private cinema, casino, billiards lounge, and a sky bar.
Suite prices will start at $150,000 during the pre-launch phase, rising to $210,000 at groundbreaking, with potential increases as construction progresses. Founding investors can name their suites and enjoy personal use for up to 21 days annually.
The Group Managing Director, Dr. Sijibomi Ogundele, acknowledged challenges such as rising construction costs and regulatory hurdles affecting the project.
