Zulum Leads Committee to Revitalize NNDC for Northern Economic Growth

Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has taken the lead in chairing the inaugural implementation committee aimed at revitalizing the New Nigeria Development Company Limited (NNDC). This move is part of efforts to reposition the NNDC as a key player in driving economic growth in the Northern region.

The committee, comprising governors from Kwara, Zamfara, and Plateau States, seeks to transform the NNDC into a prominent development finance institution supporting commercial and industrial growth across the 19 Northern States. Governor Zulum expressed his commitment to the restructuring process, acknowledging the importance of the NNDC in fostering regional economic development.
