Zulum Declares War on Terrorist Informants in Borno

On Thursday, during a statewide broadcast in Maiduguri, Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum declared a decisive endgame against terrorist informants and sympathizers, stating that individuals or groups providing shelter or support to terrorists will face the full wrath of the law.

He expressed deep concern over the recent resurgence of insecurity in the state, which has been ongoing for seven years, and emphasized that the state will no longer tolerate elements that disturb peace. Zulum highlighted the importance of collective action and coordination with security agencies to ensure the safety of citizens.

He commended President Bola Tinubu for providing necessary financial support for military operations and acknowledged the sacrifices of security personnel. The governor reassured residents of ongoing assessments and coordinated responses to the security situation, urging political leaders to unite in restoring peace in the region.
