Zulum Inaugurates School Offering Almajirai Balanced Education

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, inaugurated an integrated learning High Islamic College in Baga, Kukawa Local Government Area, on September 12. The school aims to provide almajirai with a balanced education combining modern formal learning, Islamic studies, and vocational training.

This initiative is part of the government's efforts to tackle illiteracy, insecurity, and empower youth in Borno State. The school's curriculum includes Mathematics and English to ensure students qualify for higher education.

Governor Zulum emphasized the importance of education in transforming the lives of children and contributing to the development of the state. The school in Baga is one of 20 similar institutions established by the state government.
