Zulum Presents Gubio as APC Governorship Candidate to Tinubu

On Friday, Babagana Zulum, the Governor of Borno State, formally presented Mustapha Gubio as the governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. This presentation was made in the context of the upcoming elections and highlighted the importance of Tinubu's leadership in promoting peace and reconstruction in the Northeast region.

Zulum was accompanied by members of the House of Representatives, including Engr. Bukar Talba.

Additionally, it was noted that Senator Kaka Lawan, who previously contested for the governorship, withdrew from the race and endorsed Gubio. This decision was reached during a stakeholders' meeting in Abuja, as stated by legislative aide Usman Alkali.
