Zulum Boosts Security in Border Town Banki Amid Insurgent Threat

Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has reassured residents of the border town Banki of enhanced security measures following recent attacks by Boko Haram insurgents. During a visit to the town, Governor Zulum commended the community for their courage and resilience in the face of adversity.

He emphasized the importance of preventing bad elements from displacing the thriving economic activities in the area. Zulum announced plans to resettle three more communities in Borno State and confirmed the rehabilitation of roads in Banki had commenced.
