Illiya Kefa, chairman of the Taraba State Environmental Sanitation Agency, announced a salary cut for street sweepers from N15,000 to N10,000 as part of an internal measure to manage resources and sustain operations amid financial constraints.

Hon. Illiya Kefa, chairman of the Taraba State Environment Sanitation Agency, clarified that the agency, not Governor Agbu Kefa, reduced salaries of street sweepers due to financial constraints. The agency manages a large workforce across 16 local government areas.
