An aircraft operated by the Nigerian Air Force crashed in Ondo State while en route from Benin to Lagos, carrying 32 individuals. Search and rescue operations are ongoing, with the wreckage located near the Naval Base in Igbokoda.

Thirty-two individuals are feared dead following the crash of a Nigeria Air Force ATR-42 aircraft in Igbokoda, Ondo State. The aircraft was on a routine flight from Benin to Lagos when it disappeared from radar.
