Bayelsa PDP APC Election Clash

Festus Daumiebi Sunday, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State, criticized George Turnah, the state PDP chairman, for personal attacks on Governor Douye Diri, urging a focus on issue-based campaigns ahead of the 2027 elections.

Chief George Turnah of the PDP accused Governor Douye Diri of not supporting President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign. In response, APC Chairman Warman Weri Ogoriba defended Diri, asserting his active involvement in the campaign.
