El-Rufai ICPC Court Dispute

A court in Abuja ruled that CCTV footage from the ICPC will be limited to 20 minutes per side in the case involving former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai. The judge denied El-Rufai's requests for a full viewing and cross-examination of ICPC officials.

The Federal High Court in Abuja ordered selected CCTV footage to be played in court as the ICPC and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai dispute alleged restrictions on family access during his custody. The case involves a N10 billion fundamental rights suit.

A Federal High Court in Abuja denied Nasir El-Rufai's request to screen all CCTV footage from the ICPC in open court. Instead, both parties were allowed to present relevant portions. El-Rufai is suing the ICPC for ₦10 billion over alleged rights violations.
