Yobe Governor Impressed by Wagir and Mutai PHCs During Surprise Visit

Yobe State Governor, Hon Mai Mala Buni, conducted a surprise assessment tour of Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) in Wagir and Mutai, Gujba Local Government Area. Governor Buni commended the staff for their commitment and the high level of cleanliness observed during the visit.

He directed the Executive Secretary of Yobe State Primary Healthcare Management Agency to submit requirements for additional facilities to enhance service delivery. The Governor also expressed gratitude for the support of the people and assured them of the government's consideration to absorb dedicated casual staff into the mainstream civil service.

This move aims to reward the commitment of frontline workers in ensuring effective healthcare service delivery in rural areas.
