In the first half of 2026, ten of Nigeria's largest listed companies reported a combined revenue of approximately N14.4 trillion, marking a 36% increase from N10.59 trillion in the same period of 2025. These companies achieved a combined profit before tax (PBT) of N4.99 trillion, up 66.7% from N2.99 trillion in H1 2025.

Dangote Cement Plc followed with N2.51 trillion, a 21.4% increase, and Seplat Energy Plc reported N2.50 trillion, a 15.5% increase. Aradel Holdings Plc saw a remarkable revenue surge of 576.9% to N2.49 trillion.

MTN Nigeria's CEO, Karl Toriola, attributed growth to sustained service demand and improved operational efficiency, with data revenue rising by 38.4%.
