Ten Bodies Recovered After Attack in Plateau State

A brutal attack by bandits on a community in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State, Nigeria, resulted in the recovery of ten bodies. The incident took place on Sunday night, specifically at 7:27 PM, affecting the Rwang Tengwong community.

Rwang Tengwong, a leader associated with the Berom Youth Moulder Association, reported that two bodies were recovered from Dorowa Babuj, while another individual was shot dead in the Riyom Local Government Council area. The attack left three others seriously injured, and those injured were taken to the hospital for treatment at the time of the report.

Efforts to reach the spokesman for the Plateau Police Command, DSP Alfr Alabo, for further updates were unsuccessful. This incident marks a significant rise in the death toll from the latest wave of violent attacks in Plateau State, raising concerns about security in the region.
