Ten Parties Prepare for Kano Assembly By-Elections, INEC Confirms Participation

The Kano State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Ambassador Abdu Zango, announced that ten political parties have submitted nominations for the upcoming by-elections in Kano State. The parties include APC, ADP, AAC, PRP, Democratic Labour Party, APGA, Good Party, Action Alliance, Labour Party, LP, and NNPP.

The parties uploaded their candidates' details to INEC's online portal before the nomination deadline. INEC is currently verifying the submissions to finalize the number of candidates.

The by-elections will take place in two constituencies across Kano Municipal and Ungogo, involving 535,000 registered voters and 1,000 polling units. INEC assured voters of adequate staffing and logistics for a smooth electoral process.
