Nigeria Launches Africa's Largest Health Campaign to Vaccinate 100 Million Children

The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched a massive health campaign aiming to vaccinate 100 million children against measles, rubella, polio, and Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). This initiative, described as Africa's largest integrated health campaign, is led by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) to provide multiple vaccines and health services simultaneously.

The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, highlighted the historic significance of this campaign, emphasizing President Bola Tinubu's leadership in prioritizing healthcare as a central pillar of national development. The goal is to reimagine healthcare delivery and ensure no child is left unvaccinated, marking a significant step towards improving public health in Nigeria.
