Ebonyi State Offers Free Hernia and Fibroid Surgeries in Healthcare Initiative

In Ebonyi State, Governor Nwifuru announced that 1,200 individuals will undergo free hernia and fibroid surgeries, as well as eye screenings and eyeglass issuance. This initiative is part of the 3rd Phase of a free medical outreach program aimed at improving healthcare access for residents.

The surgeries will include hernia repair for adults and children, fibroid removal for women, and eye screenings. The program, in collaboration with the Ebonyi State Health Insurance Agency, aims to address healthcare needs and provide essential services to those in need.

Governor Nwifuru emphasized the importance of prioritizing the health of Ebonyi residents through such initiatives.
