15 Rescued in Lagos Building Collapse, Emergency Response Underway

In Lagos, a building located at 54 Cole Street near the Cemetery Bus Stop in Oyingbo collapsed, leading to the rescue of 15 individuals, including adults and children. The Lagos State Fire Rescue Service and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) quickly responded, pulling the victims from the rubble.

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals, including the Federal Medical Center Ebute Metta General Hospital on Lagos Island. Margaret Adesey, the Control General of the Lagos State Fire Rescue Service, confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are ongoing.

The rescue operations are still in progress to free any trapped individuals beneath the debris.
