8 Workers Rescued Alive from Lagos Building Collapse, Tragedy Strikes Zaria

Eight male construction workers were rescued alive after being trapped in the rubble of a collapsed four-storey building in Lagos, Alagomeji area. The incident occurred on September 12, with the rescue operation successfully saving the workers on September 13.

The Lagos State Fire Rescue Services confirmed the rescue, with no casualties reported. The cause of the building collapse is yet to be determined, and authorities have promised an investigation.

In a separate incident in Zaria, a mother and her two children were tragically killed when a building collapsed on August 27. The Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency is yet to release an official statement on the incident.
