Abdulrazak Umar Wins 2026 FirstBank Golf Tournament

Abdulrazak Umar claimed the title at the 2026 FirstBank Golf Tournament held at Kaduna Golf Club, finishing with a net score of 59 over 18 holes. His performance secured him victory in a close contest, edging out Jerri Linu, who finished second after a countback.

The tournament attracted 200 golfers from within and outside Kaduna, competing across multiple categories. In the men's handicap 0-14 category, Moham Bawa emerged as the best gross with a score of 66, while Jerri Linu recorded a score of 65 gross.

James Bulu won the best gross in the men's handicap 15-28 category with a score of 84, and Mathew Danjuma Dauda Bungwon secured the runner-up net honor. Salisu Abba achieved the best gross score of 70 in the ladies' category, with Justina Gideon winning the longest drive for both male and female categories.

The tournament marked its third edition, and Umar expressed satisfaction with his performance, attributing his victory to hard work and preparation.
