16 Cattle Rustlers Arrested in Ekiti State by Amotekun Corps

At least 16 suspected cattle rustlers believed to have entered Ekiti State from Kwara State were arrested by the Amotekun Corps. The arrests were made following intelligence received by residents about a large number of cattle in Isan Ekiti, leading to panic in the community.

The suspects, including herdsmen, were apprehended at Gede Farm Settlement in Oye Local Government Area. Items recovered from the suspects included currency notes, mobile phones, charms, and identification cards.

The suspects were handed over to the Rapid Response Squad of the Ekiti State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.
