Daniella Jesudunsin Tops 2026 UTME with 372 Score

Daniella Jesudunsin, a 16-year-old from Ekiti State, emerged as the highest scorer in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a remarkable score of 372 out of 400. The announcement was made during a meeting held in Abuja by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), led by Registrar Ishaq Oloyed.

Daniella, who sat for the examination in Ogun State, achieved scores of 98 in English Language, 98 in Chemistry, 94 in Physics, and 82 in Biology. She completed secondary school in 2025 and had previously attempted the UTME in 2025 but could not gain admission due to a glitch at the examination center.

Despite not requesting a resit, she prepared for the 2026 UTME with a goal of at least 350 and ultimately aimed for 370. Daniella aspires to study medicine and surgery at the University of Lagos, driven by her passion to provide medical support and alleviate pain for others.

Other notable candidates included Enwer Kingslei Ikenna from Imo State, who scored 370, and Bamisil Ayomid Emmanuel from Ondo State, who scored 369.
