17 Lawmakers Switch from ADC to NDC in Nigeria

On Tuesday, during a plenary session, at least 17 members of the House of Representatives announced their defection from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC). Notable members who defected include Yusuf Datti, Uchenna Okonkwo, Adamu Wakili, Thaddeus Attah, Georg Ozodinobi, Lilian Orogbu, Oluwaseyi Sowunmi, Peter Aniekw, Mukhtar Zakari, Georg Oluwand, Munachim Umezuruike, Emeka Idu, Jess Onuakalusi, Ifeanyi Uzokw, Afam Ogen, and Abdulhakeem Ado. This significant shift in party allegiance reflects ongoing political realignments within Nigeria's legislative body.
