AAU Students Receive Opay Scholarships in Edo State - SDG Education Initiative Launched

20 students from Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Edo State have received scholarship grants from Opay, facilitated by the state government's Office of the Special Adviser on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The initiative aims to support undergraduate students and advance SDG 4 on quality education.

The program, launched to run until early 2025, is part of a billion-naira national scholarship initiative to ease the financial burden on indigent students. Ms.

Sally Suleiman, the Special Adviser to the Governor, expressed gratitude for the partnership with OPay Digital Services. One beneficiary, Blessing Iyoha, a Human Anatomy student, highlighted the significant relief the payment brought to her family.
