Team Nigeria Dominates 100m Heats at African Championships

At the 2026 African Athletics Championships held in Accra, Ghana, Team Nigeria's women sprinters made a significant impact in the 100m event. Rosemary Chukwuma, a top favorite, advanced to the semi-finals with an unofficial time of 11.44 seconds, showcasing her dominance in the heats.
