FG Reaffirms Commitment to Inclusive Education for Children

On the occasion of the 2026 Children's Day celebration, the Federal Government of Nigeria, through Minister of Education Tunji Alausa, reaffirmed its commitment to providing inclusive and quality education for every Nigerian child. The event, held at the Federal Ministry of Education headquarters in Abuja, featured young disability advocate and actress Dera Osadeb, who praised the government's efforts.

Alausa emphasized the importance of nurturing, protecting, and empowering children while sustaining investments in education and child development. He noted that the celebration served as a reminder of the collective responsibility to safeguard the future of children and provide them with opportunities to thrive.

The event aimed to amplify the voices of Nigerian children and promote inclusive education. Alausa also aligned the celebration with President Bola Tinubu's agenda to prioritize child development and youth empowerment, ensuring continued government support for creating an enabling environment for learning and growth.
