FG Commits to Equal Education for Every Nigerian Child

On Children's Day, Minister of Education Maruf Alausa reaffirmed the Federal Government's commitment to providing inclusive and quality education for every Nigerian child. The event, held in Abuja, featured children from various backgrounds, including those with disabilities, alongside actress and disability advocate Dera Osadeb.

Alausa emphasized the importance of investing in children's education and ensuring equal opportunities for all, regardless of their circumstances. He praised Osadeb for her advocacy, which inspires conversations about empathy and inclusivity for children with disabilities, including autism.

The minister aligned the government's efforts with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, prioritizing child development and expanding access to quality learning opportunities nationwide. He urged Nigerian children to remain confident and nurtured, assuring them of the government's support in creating an enabling environment for learning and growth, while also committing to protect children's rights through policies and programs that promote inclusive education and safe learning spaces across the country.
