SDP Leader Adebayo Claims Best Candidates for FCT Polls

Prince Adewole Adebayo, the national leader of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), expressed confidence in the party's candidates for the forthcoming area council elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He made these remarks on Wednesday, emphasizing that the SDP candidates are the best among their peers, with superior programs, records, and reputations.

Adebayo countered statements made by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, who suggested that the ministry could determine the election's outcome. He argued that the ministry lacks the capacity to influence the election results, stating, "not even Abuja can elect anybody." Adebayo highlighted the importance of local government elections, asserting that they are crucial for addressing immediate community issues.

He also mentioned that the Bwari area council, led by Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi, has been receiving significant monthly allocations but has not effectively utilized these funds for community development.
