Oyo FA Sets Date for 2026 Federation Cup Draws

The Oyo State Football Association, led by Oba Jame Oluyemi Odeniran, has officially announced the date and venue for the draws of the 2026 Federation Cup. The draws are scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 9 AM, to be held at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.

This prestigious tournament, recognized as the oldest football competition in Nigeria, will see participation from several teams, including the current champions, Shoot Star Sports Club (3SC), and former winners, Crown Football Club Ogbomoso. Notably, Shaki United FC will not participate in the men's category.

A total of eight teams will compete for the title. In the women's category, teams from the Nigeria Women Football League, including the Pace Setters and Dragon Furi Ladi Football Club, will also be involved.

The draw ceremony is expected to attract significant attention from stakeholders, including FIFA representatives, coaches, referees, zonal football council chairmen, and media personnel.
