US Announces October Interviews for 2026 Green Card Lottery

The United States government has officially announced that interviews for successful applicants in the 2026 Diversity Visa (DV) programme are set to begin in October. The lottery selections are typically made public in May each year, and applicants can verify their selection by visiting the official portal at dvprogram.state.gov.

Those selected will receive further instructions on the next steps. The Diversity Visa Programme, also known as the Green Card lottery, offers up to 55,000 immigrant visas annually to nationals from countries with historically low immigration rates to the US.
