Nigerian Pilgrims to Return from 2026 Hajj Starting June 5

Nigerian pilgrims will begin their return from the 2026 Hajj on June 5, as disclosed by Professor Abubakar, the director of NAHCON, during a visit to Kano State's Amirul Hajj, Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir.

NAHCON has collaborated with state pilgrim welfare boards and airlines to ensure a smooth and safe return for the pilgrims. The return schedule has been carefully designed to minimize delays and congestion at airports, ensuring the comfort and safety of the pilgrims throughout the process.

Professor Abubakar urged pilgrims to adhere strictly to guidelines regarding luggage, travel documents, and departure schedules to facilitate seamless movement during the return airlift operations. Dr.

Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir expressed appreciation for NAHCON's commitment to the welfare of Nigerian pilgrims and assured that Kano State officials would continue to comply with established regulations to ensure a successful return journey. Pilgrims have been encouraged to intensify prayers for peace, unity, and prosperity in Kano State and Nigeria.
