EFCC's Olukoyede Enhances Welfare for Female Officers

On Wednesday, during a seminar at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja commemorating International Women's Day 2026, Ola Olukoyede, the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), assured female officers of enhanced welfare measures. He emphasized the importance of addressing their emotional and physical stability to effectively discharge their duties.

Olukoyede highlighted the establishment of a Childcare Office to reduce stress for nursing mothers and enhance the dignity of female staff. He also directed the enforcement of policies against sexual harassment and bullying within the commission.

Felicia Timothy, Deputy Director of EFCC, praised Olukoyede for promoting women into leadership positions, which she noted has empowered female officers significantly. The seminar included lectures on prioritizing female staff health, delivered by Dr.

Motunrayo Oyelohuno, Dr. Toyin Ogunkanmi, and Dr.

Nana Khadijah Iya, focusing on creating a supportive workplace culture.
