EFCC Chairman Urges Young Women to Combat Corruption

On a recent occasion in Abuja, Ola Olukoyede, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), engaged with members of the Girl Guides Nigeria during a visit to the EFCC headquarters. He emphasized the critical role young women play in combating economic and financial crimes, urging them to act with integrity and to do the right thing, even in the absence of oversight.

Olukoyede, alongside Deputy Command EFCC Nwayinma Okeanu, articulated the necessity for young women to contribute positively to the nation’s future. He encouraged them to reject corruption and to become change agents within their communities.

The event also featured discussions on cybercrime led by Kayod Eniola, who outlined various forms of online criminal activities and their repercussions. Aisha Moham provided an overview of the EFCC's commitment to preventing economic crime, reinforcing the importance of youth engagement in the anti-corruption fight.
