2026 O’jez Ladder Table Tennis Tournament Begins in Ikeja

The 2026 O’jez Ladder Table Tennis Tournament kicked off at the Ikeja Country Club on Wednesday, with approximately 300 players participating. This tournament provides an opportunity for club members to showcase their table tennis skills and compete for a position in the top 20 player rankings.

Akeem Lekan Alli Balogun, the Secretary of the Table Tennis Section, noted that the tournament will run for two weeks, culminating in a grand final on April 30. Players will compete in different categories, including men, women, and various age brackets such as veterans and super veterans.

Joseph Odobeatu, the Chairman and Managing Director of O’jez Entertainment Group, has been a long-time supporter of the tournament, emphasizing its role in promoting sports development in the country. Balogun expressed excitement about the competition, highlighting the opportunity for players to test their skills and aim for recognition on the club's ranking board.
