APC Launches Campaign for Osun Governorship Election 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated its campaign committee on Wednesday for the upcoming Osun governorship election set for August 15, 2026. Senator Francis Fadahunsi, representing Osun East, emphasized the need for a people-focused and results-driven campaign.

He criticized the incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, alleging that his administration has negatively impacted the state through mismanagement, particularly in areas like illegal mining, which has led to land degradation and loss of resources. Fadahunsi highlighted the lack of quality healthcare facilities and sanitation in the state, particularly affecting communities in Ijesa, including Obokun, Atakunmosa West, and Atakunmosa East.

The APC aims to address these issues and improve citizens' welfare, with Hon. Oluwol Ok, the APC Campaign Council's Director General, asserting that the current administration has failed the people of Osun State.

The party is confident that its candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, will emerge victorious in the election.
