FIFA to Decide on Nigeria's Petition Against DR Congo Today

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is awaiting a ruling from FIFA today concerning Nigeria's petition against the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) related to the 2026 World Cup qualification. The NFF filed the complaint in December, asserting that at least six players from DR Congo who participated in the African playoff final last November were ineligible due to recent changes in national eligibility rules.
