FIFA announced the final squad list for the 2026 World Cup, confirming the participation of 1,248 players representing 48 nations, with 891 players set to make their tournament debuts. The tournament will kick off on June 11, 2026, across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, marking a historic milestone with an expanded format featuring 48 teams.

Among the players, 357 have previous World Cup experience, while 22 players range in age from 17 to 43 years. Notable players include Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Guillermo Ochoa, who is set to make a record sixth World Cup appearance.

The youngest player is Gilberto Mora from Mexico, aged 17, while the oldest is Craig Gordon from Scotland, aged 43. The tournament will also feature debuting nations such as Cabo Verde, Curaçao, Jordan, and Uzbekistan, with Uzbekistan making its first appearance.

The squad list reflects a diverse representation of talent from 449 clubs across 71 countries.
