PDP Candidate Jiya Criticizes Kwara Governor AbdulRazaq

Dr. Kolo Baba Jiya, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Kwara North, accused Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of neglecting the region and attempting to divide its people for political gain. Speaking at a political gathering focused on the 2027 elections, Jiya claimed that Kwara North has competent leaders who could effectively represent the zone.

He criticized AbdulRazaq for prioritizing political maneuvering over development, stating that the region is facing significant challenges and questioning the governor's contributions to improving conditions. Jiya also targeted the current senator for Kwara North, Danladi Sankara, alleging that he has failed to advocate for major projects and federal interventions.

He urged voters to see the upcoming election as an opportunity to elect a representative capable of attracting development and federal projects to the district. Jiya expressed concern over the APC's candidate selection, suggesting that AbdulRazaq chose a "stooge" to protect his interests rather than a competent leader.
