Jiya Declares PDP Candidates Best for Kwara in 2027

Kolo Baba Jiya, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Kwara North, addressed a large crowd of supporters during his welcome-home and consultation tour across communities in the Kwara North Senatorial District. He asserted that the PDP candidates are the most qualified to represent Kwara State in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

Jiya's tour included visits to communities such as Tsaragi in Edu Local Government Area and Wadata, Esanti, and Lade in Patigi Local Government Area, where he received warm receptions from residents. He urged supporters to back his candidacy for the National Assembly.

During the Patigi segment of the tour, Jiya visited the palace of the Etsu of Patigi, where he formally informed the traditional institution of his candidacy. This visit was part of his broader engagement strategy with traditional institutions and community leaders following his emergence as the PDP candidate.
