Abia APC Suspends Ogah for Supporting Otti's Re-Election

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended former Minister Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah for his public endorsement of Governor Alex Otti's re-election campaign for 2027. This suspension follows Ogah's declaration of support during a civic reception in Isuikwuato, where he praised Otti's governance and highlighted the positive impact of his administration on the people of Abia.

APC's state leadership, represented by Uch Aguoru, labeled Ogah's actions as reckless and irresponsible, asserting that they do not align with the party's objectives. Aguoru emphasized that the APC will not tolerate individuals who undermine its collective mission.

The party has initiated disciplinary measures against Ogah, who was previously suspended at the ward and local government levels in 2022 for alleged anti-party activities. The APC's legal advisor, Chukwudi Nwankwo, confirmed the validity of the earlier suspension, reinforcing the party's stance against Ogah's conduct.
