APC Suspends Uche Ogah Over Support for Alex Otti

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially suspended former Minister Uche Ogah. The suspension is attributed to Ogah's endorsement of Governor Alex Otti's bid for a second term, which the party views as a personal stance rather than an official position.

APC's state publicity secretary, Vigilu Nwankwo, announced the suspension during a meeting of the party's state working committee in Umuahia. Nwankwo explained that Ogah's actions were not representative of the party's views and highlighted that the suspension is a consequence of Ogah's involvement in parallel primary elections in Isuikwuato during the preparations for the 2023 governorship elections in Abia State.

Sources indicate that Ogah's support for Otti's second term bid contributed to the decision to suspend him from the party.
