Abiodun Promises 2 Million Votes for Tinubu in 2027

On Thursday, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is fully prepared for the 2027 general elections, pledging two million votes for President Bola Tinubu's re-election. This declaration was made at the Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode during a rally that gathered thousands of APC supporters in support of the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Adeola.

Abiodun highlighted the large turnout as a demonstration of the APC's strength and grassroots reach in Ogun State. He expressed confidence in the party's readiness for the upcoming elections, citing the achievements of his administration over the past seven years.

Abiodun praised Adeola's experience and urged party members to enhance grassroots mobilization. Adeola, in his speech, referred to Abiodun as a “silent achiever” and committed to continuing the state's development if elected.

He also dismissed any rumors of political alliances with opposition parties, asserting that the APC is well-prepared to retain power in Ogun State.
