Adeboye Calls for 90-Day Ultimatum to Security Chiefs

Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, called on the Nigerian government to give security chiefs a 90-day ultimatum to eradicate terrorism in the country or resign from their positions. This statement was made in a video shared on his official social media account on Tuesday.

Adeboye expressed deep concern over the ongoing security challenges in Nigeria, particularly the threats posed by terrorist groups. He urged the government to hold the nation's security accountable for delivering tangible results in the fight against terrorism.

Adeboye suggested that the government should quietly expedite efforts to ensure that security chiefs eliminate terrorists within the specified timeframe or resign. He also emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts against individuals and groups providing financial and logistical support to terrorist organizations, stating that security operations should not only target armed terrorists but also their sponsors, regardless of their influence.
