PDP Launches 2027 Campaign in Ogun Central District

On Wednesday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) officially launched its campaign for the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections in Ogun Central Senatorial District. The campaign began at Agbado Station in the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, where thousands of residents welcomed the PDP governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu, and his running mate, Alhaja Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, along with senatorial candidate Prof Iyabo Obasanjo.

In Abeokuta North and Abeokuta South Federal Constituencies, large crowds gathered to support the PDP candidates, including Dele Olaleye and Toyin Amuzu. During the rally at Ake Pavilion, Adebutu encouraged supporters to vote for Obasanjo, highlighting her past achievements as a representative and Commissioner for Health.

He called for a rejection of the current APC government, urging residents to vote en masse for the PDP in 2027 and to stand firm against intimidation. Obasanjo expressed gratitude for the recognition of her previous work in the district.
